How to Win in the Natural Disaster Survival Roblox Creation on now.gg

Check out how to survive all the hazards in the Natural Disaster Survival Roblox creation on now.gg.

Roblox is the home of thousands of different creations, which are user-created games with varying systems, scopes, progression mechanics, and gameplay elements. And while some of these creations can be as basic as a simple round-based minigame, others can be quite complex, with save systems, lots of character-based progression, and even complex combat systems, like the ones you would find on proper standalone video games.

Natural Disaster Survival is one of the basic types of Roblox creations, though that doesn’t make it any less fun or entertaining, especially if you’re looking to kill a few minutes during a commute or your downtime. And if you play Roblox on now.gg, you can get instant access to this and any other Roblox creation, on any of your devices (laptop, phone, PC, etc), with the best graphics and performance, and without having to download or install a single file.

In this game, the premise is simple: In every round, you’re transported to a random map, and about 30 seconds later, a natural disaster will appear. The objective here is to survive the round using whatever means you can find. There are many different maps, as well as a wide variety of disasters, making this Roblox game tons of fun and with a lot of replay value in the long run.

In this guide, however, we’re going to give a few tips and tricks on how to survive each and every natural disaster in the game, so that you can win all your rounds and style on other players.

How to Survive Every Natural Disaster

There are 12 different disasters and hazards in Natural Disaster Survival. Here’s an overview of each of these disasters, as well as a few key pointers on how you can survive all of them:

Deadly Virus

This one hits pretty close to home, considering all that we’ve had to go through in the past couple of years, which makes us think that the addition of this disaster was not a coincidence…

In any case, the Deadly Virus is exactly as it sounds: One player is chosen at random to be the patient zero, upon which they will start sneezing, coughing, producing purple virus orbs, and have their health slowly drain. The idea here is to avoid infected players as contact with the virus is the only way for you to catch it. In this sense, this round plays more like a game of tag, with players trying to infect each other.

A good tip to survive here is to prematurely get away from every other player before the disaster is announced, in case it’s a deadly virus. Once the chaos starts, try to find a hiding place, preferably one that’s hard to reach or that is very high in the air. However, if you do get infected, you can try to keep your health up by eating the apples that you can buy in-game. These fruits restore some of your HP, and might help you to survive until the end.

Earthquake

The stage trembles, structures fall, bricks fly around everywhere, and players are tumbling and rolling every time the earth shakes. Earthquakes in Natural Disaster Survival are more chaotic than they actually are dangerous, in the sense that they’re not very lethal, unless you lose your cool and expose yourself to falling debris or high falls.

What really gets you during earthquake rounds are the tumbling debris chunks, which are constantly shot in the air and can hit your character, doing some damage and sending you flying. If you’re close to water, you might even end up falling to your death. In this sense, in order to survive earthquakes, your best bet is to find a large, flat surface and simply stay there. And it goes without saying that you shouldn’t stay indoors, unless you want a ton of debris to fall on you.

Volcano

Once this disaster is announced, a huge volcano will appear on the water and start spewing glowing lava bricks on the stage. These bricks are absolutely lethal to the touch, instantly killing anyone who comes into contact with them. Additionally, they can go through most objects by sometimes clipping through them, which means that you’re not safe anywhere, not even indoors.

Your best bet for surviving this disaster is staying as far away from the caldera as possible, such as by running to the opposite edge of the map. This will ensure that no magma bricks fall directly on you, and the ones that might reach you may do so by slowly rolling towards you, which you can avoid simply by sidestepping.

Alternatively, some players try to climb the side of the volcano, which actually has walkable surfaces. By getting behind the caldera, you can possibly avoid most of the rocks, as these mainly fly directly towards the island.

Acid Rain

This phenomenon actually happens in the real world, but with much less destructive potential. The acid rain in Natural Disaster Survival is cranked up to 11, as it can easily melt through any surface, given enough time. And if these acid droplets can chew through metal and other hard materials, imagine what they can do to soft Roblox character skin: they slowly drain your HP, that’s what.

As far as lethality goes, acid rain is a bit more on the lenient side, as it does not outright kill you with a single touch. However, it can be very hard to avoid, especially if there are no good indoor areas in your current map. And even if you’re indoors, the rain will slowly eat away at the walls and ceiling, and will eventually destroy your shelter.

The best way to survive this disaster is either by staying in a building and getting lucky, or finding a tree and standing underneath it, as the rain drops are less likely to hit the tree, giving these shelters a longer lifespan.

Sandstorm

One of the most dangerous disasters, since it’s really hard to tell what’s going on at any given moment.

As soon as the sandstorm is announced, your screen will be partially covered by a sandy visual effect, making it hard to see your surroundings. However, as soon as the disaster starts in earnest, you’ll see bricks, walls, and other objects flying around, instantly destroying any players they hit. And the worst part about this is that nothing is safe when it comes to the sandstorm, as even entire buildings can get blown away by the strong winds.

To survive this one, you need to have a good eye and spot where the bricks and objects are flying to. Once you’ve spotted the direction of the winds (east to west, for example), all you have to do is stand on the edge of the map where the winds are blowing from. This will help you to stay safe and prevent any flying hazards from coming your way.

Blizzard

Very, very similar to the sandstorm, but with a different visual effect, and with the addition that the freezing winds actually deal continuous damage to the player if they can’t find shelter. However, the winds in this disaster are much weaker, and don’t do nearly as much damage to the surrounding buildings as its sandy counterpart. Nevertheless, they are still strong enough to pick up some objects and smash you across the head with them, instantly killing you.

If you want to make it through the blizzard, however, it’s as simple as finding a nice house or building, and standing in a corner. This should keep you safe from the snow, debris, and all other flying objects for the entirety of the round.

Tsunami

This one’s quite a doozy! And it’s doubly scary because you can actually see a huge tidal wave steadily swelling towards the island, spelling doom to anyone who doesn’t manage to get out of the way in time, which in this case means getting high enough to go over the water.

The tsunami sweeps across the island, destroying anything and everything in its path. This destruction includes both bricks and players, which might make it seem like it’s unavoidable, but that’s really not the case at all. To avoid the tsunami, players must climb to a suitable altitude, such as by going up a building. Moreover, since the wave destroys anything in its path, players must also take care not to fall from too high if their building starts collapsing, or else they will die from the fall damage.

Overall, this one requires quite a bit of luck, both to catch you close to a building that you can climb up, as well as for having the building not collapse after the wave has passed. And if it does collapse, you’ll need some luck in order to jump down and not break your legs.

Meteor Shower

As its name suggests, this is one of the other tougher scenarios to survive, mainly because predicting the trajectories of the falling rocks before they actually hit the ground and obliterate you is a real challenge.

In this scenario, rocks start falling out of the sky at blinding speeds, not only destroying everything they land on, but also physically detaching them from the stage, possibly creating secondary falling debris hazards. Luckily, while the meteors do explode on impact, suggesting that they deal area damage, these explosions are just cosmetic and don’t harm anything at all. Nevertheless, we don’t really need to tell you that if you’re hit directly by any of these falling rocks, you’re done for.

The absolute worst place to be during this specific disaster is indoors, as the meteors can and will throw loose bricks in every direction, potentially hitting you square in the chest if you’re confined to enclosed spaces. In contrast, by staying outdoors, you easily avoid the debris, with a very small chance of the meteors actually hitting you since you can be moving around at all times.

Fire

Fire… It’s just fire, literally. In this scenario, a fire suddenly starts in a random area of the map, and slowly spreads to surrounding tiles, engulfing any and every brick with its flaming and lethal tongues. However, if you have a basic understanding of how fire works, and know that it can only spread to the bricks that are directly beside it, then you’ll know that the best way to avoid this hazard is by staying away from it.

It’s no surprise that this “disaster” is treated as the easiest one to survive, since the only thing you need to do is stand on the opposite side of where it spawned, and you’re basically guaranteed to make it through the round.

Tornado

Shortly after the initial announcement, a cloud of smoke will appear at a random spot on the map, before taking up a funnel shape and starting to move slowly in random directions. Despite not really looking like an actual tornado, trust us when we say that you DO NOT want to get close to the spinning churning smoke cloud, unless you want to get a faceful of debris, or simply to get swept away by the heavy winds.

There’s really no strategy to surviving this disaster, as you simply must stay away from the tornado, and hope that you don’t get smacked by a random piece of flying debris. You definitely don’t want to stay indoors, since buildings are no match for a raging tornado, and this will limit your options to maneuver around and evade it. Instead, stay outside and as far away from the tornado as you can.

Thunderstorm

Thunder! Flash! Shock and awe! All of this and much more in the thunderstorm scenario in Natural Disaster Survival.

This scenario sees players running around the stage as it gets struck by lightning around 40 times. The lightning can completely destroy anything that it touches, even the walls and ceilings of whatever structures you’re hiding in. To maximize your odds of survival, we recommend staying in low altitudes, as the odds of getting struck by the lightning increase as you jump higher. Suffice to say, you die instantly if you get struck, though it’s possible to survive if you get hit on a limb.

Overall, try to stay indoors and in one spot, and you should be safe.

Flash Flood

Last but not least, another watery hazard, this time in the form of rising water levels that slowly engulf the entire stage, leading everyone trapped in the water to an early grave. Luckily, the water slowly drains the player’s HP, instead of instantly killing them, which gives everyone a bit of time to climb to a higher altitude.

The best way to survive this one is to stay on top of a high structure and cross your fingers that it doesn’t fall in the rising waters. However, even if it does fall, you can simply climb on some of the floating pieces to stay above the water and survive. However, be wary when climbing the buildings and try not to go too high, as there’s a chance that you might die from the fall damage if your building collapses.
